Forklift Training - 2 Days Program
Candidates who in the past have obtained basic training and experience but require advance training and competency assessment. Course delivery is in line with adult learning principles incorporating classroom instruction and hands-on activities to meet the requirements.
Provide the basic knowledge and practical skills involved in operating the Industrial Forklift trucks and be able to operate the machine safely and correctly in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions and accepted good practice.
Carry out a pre-shift inspection.
Be able to load and unload vehicles and static racking.
Understand the causes of instability of the truck and loads.
Have an understanding of responsibilities under Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA 1994) and other current relevant legislation.
Forklift Training Program
Candidates will participate in theory lessons and practical demonstrations / exercises, all of which are highlighted by the use AVA in the class.
